Our core investment objective is to provide shareholders with an attractive and stable income stream, together with the potential for income and capital growth. We focus on investments in industrial real estate assets primarily across Western and Northern European jurisdictions (excluding the UK). Our portfolio has been selected for its income characteristics, potential for capital growth and for its geographical diversification.
We believe we can utilise the experience and track record of Tamar to generate opportunities and attractive returns by conducting thorough due diligence, identifying mis-pricings and focusing on an actively managed, value orientated approach.
Track record
Tamar Capital Partners (“Tamar”), a property investment and asset management company focusing on the UK, Western and Northern European markets, was established in December 2009 with financial backing from The Tavistock Group. Headed by Rob Brook and supported by Ron Robson, the Company includes the former senior management team of the European businesses of Kenmore Property Group.
Tamar has already secured a portfolio of management contracts and assets across the UK and continental Europe with a total gross asset value in excess of £750 million which will form the core base of the new business.
With 32 staff based across offices in London, Berlin, Edinburgh, Helsinki, Oslo, Paris and Stockholm, Tamar has a strong European network of highly skilled and experienced property professionals. Through its combination of local expertise, contacts and in-depth property investment and asset management experience, and its unified international standards of reporting and analysis, Tamar seeks to deliver top quality operational performance and financial returns, whilst maintaining best practice investor communications and reporting standards for its clients and partners.
Tamar will continue to focus on its core skills of active property investment and asset management services in order to secure additional opportunities, by way of separate account mandates, asset-led joint-ventures, as well as the management of pooled funds in both the unlisted and listed sectors.
